The historic St. Paul stockyards area of South St. Paul is transitioning with the addition of two new four-story apartment buildings development by the Beard Group. Phase I, The Yards, is a 222,000-square foot, 152-unit building currently under construction. Phase II, The Backyards, is a 150,000-square foot, 111-unit building with construction planned for 2022. Residents will have a rooftop deck, outdoor swimming pool, enclosed party rooms, great views from inviting common areas with large windows, and underground parking.
