Since 1977, Nelson-Rudie has provided mechanical and electrical engineering services for Target. We have provided engineering services for nearly every store in Target’s chain including prototype development, new store designs, remodel designs and special project implementations.

Our current involvement includes leading a large team of engineering consultants assembled to meet the demands of Target’s remodel store program. Our leadership, experience and expertise in retail store design coupled with our vast knowledge of Target’s infrastructure assure that all design teams are meeting Target’s standards and that Target’s brand is displayed in every finished product.

Target projects are particularly good examples of the retail skills of our lighting and refrigeration engineering teams. Cutting edge lighting design is a major innovation being implemented by our team along with state-of-the-art upgrades to the refrigeration design for food and grocery cases.
