Sprouts Farmers Markets is one of the fastest growing retailers in the country, offering healthy, fresh, natural and organic foods. Nelson-Rudie provided mechanical and electrical design services for grocery stores across the country.
The Sprouts stores were prototypical but required shell modifications to accommodate local architecture and site constraints in each location. Some stores were standalone buildings while others were part of multi-tenant developments. We designed 12 new grocery stores and five remodels in 11 states, ranging in size from 28,000 to 30,000 square feet. Although prototypical, each store presented its own unique design challenges.
