Feldmann Imports needed an expansion at their Bloomington, Minnesota facility to accommodate its growing dealership and maintenance facility. The $3.5 million project was a 34,326-square foot building expansion to accommodate a showroom, car wash and service center on the main level along with a 9,986-square foot mezzanine level for office and parts storage.

Nelson-Rudie provided structural services for the building construction of steel joints, steel beams and columns, metal deck and masonry block bearing walls. The mezzanine level was framed with steel joist, beams and columns with a concrete floor poured over metal decking.

Special MEP services included perimeter wall hydrants, interior wash downs in service bays, floor drainage systems, compressed air distribution systems, vehicle exhaust and make up air systems, service bay lighting and building mounted perimeter lighting, power distributions systems for all owner furnished vehicle equipment in service bays and conduit raceways systems for phone and data systems.
