BlackStack Brewing is an overall lease space of a 15,000-square-foot building in St. Paul off Prior Avenue. The first phase of the project consisted of remodeling 4,000 square feet of space for the taproom and 2,000 square feet for the brewery.
The remodeling intent was to maintain the existing industrial character with exposed concrete floors and exposed mechanical and electrical equipment and piping. With no existing plans available, extensive field verification was required to support the brewery renovation and coordinate the installation of new brewery tanks, ventilation and cooling equipment, and the brewery steam boiler.
