Mr. Anderson is chief mechanical engineer at Nelson-Rudie, where he helps guide the firm’s technical direction for mechanical systems and supports consistent, high-quality delivery. His role focuses on engineering standards and technical oversight.
Micheal joined Nelson-Rudie in 2012 after earning his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Over the years, he has led a wide range of projects, including schools, recreation centers, ice rinks, and retail stores, and is known for his strong technical judgment, steady approach, and commitment.
As chief mechanical engineer, Micheal works closely with practice leadership and project teams across disciplines to reinforce firmwide standards, share technical knowledge, and help develop clear, consistent standards in project execution. He also plays an active role in mentoring and training engineers, helping teams learn, grow, and deliver reliable solutions for clients.
