Ms. Kelley‑Jones is a strategic marketing and business development leader with deep experience guiding growth, strengthening market presence, and building client relationships across the AEC industry. She brings a proven ability to position organizations for expansion through thoughtful strategies, data-driven decision-making, and collaborative partnerships.
Since joining Nelson-Rudie in September of 2025, Melissa has led the firm’s marketing and business development function during a pivotal period — supporting regional expansion, shaping brand and visibility strategy, and aligning the firm’s market approach with its long-term goals. As vice president, she plays a key role in advancing the firm’s ESOP value by amplifying its story, elevating its reputation, and driving disciplined, sustainable growth.
Melissa holds a strong background in market strategy and industry engagement, complemented by deep ties across the region. She is energized by working with people, building relationships, and helping teams see what’s possible. Outside the office, she enjoys spending time in the mountains as time allows, connecting with community organizations, and spending time with her husband and five children.

- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES YOU HANDLE DAILY?: Most of my responsibilities revolve around being a valuable member of the executive leadership team and providing strategic direction and execution of the marketing and business development functions of Nelson-Rudie.
- HOW DO YOU MEASURE SUCCESS IN YOUR CURRENT ROLE?: It means our people are proud to represent Nelson-Rudie in the market, our clients clearly understand the value we bring, and our relationships across architecture, development, and construction continue to deepen and expand. Success is measurable in diversified revenue, strong pursuit performance, and a growing reputation as a firm of choice, but it’s also felt in how connected, empowered, and aligned our employee-owners are around our purpose and future. When our brand attracts great talent, opens doors to new opportunities, and helps our teams win meaningful work that makes an impact, I know we’re doing it right.
