Mr. Burks is a finance and operations leader with a strong background in financial reporting, performance management, and process improvement across complex organizations. He brings a practical, data-driven approach to financial strategy, with a focus on strengthening visibility, improving efficiency, and supporting informed decision-making across teams.
Jonathan joined Nelson-Rudie in 2026 as director of finance during a period of continued growth and expansion. In this role, he leads the firm’s financial planning, forecasting, and reporting functions, overseeing budgeting, financial analysis, and cash flow management. He partners closely with leadership and project teams to strengthen financial visibility, support strategic initiatives, and connect financial performance to project outcomes and overall firm success.
Jonathan passed the CPA exam in 2012 and brings expertise in expense management, capital allocations, supply chain operations, and sales operations. His work centers on improving processes, supporting team success, and strengthening operational performance.
Outside the office, he enjoys spending time on his hobby farm, where he focuses on gardening, land maintenance, and hands-on building and restoration projects. He is also active in competitive masters swimming.
