After the completion of 5 Central Apartments, Nelson-Rudie was retained again for Phase II to provide complete structural, mechanical and electrical design services. This project added an additional 98,327 square feet and 69 units to the complex. As with the original building, Phase II also included offices, storage areas and lockers, and a common space on the main level with additional parking in the below-grade garage.

Building foundations are reinforced block walls. Reinforced concrete grade beams with pump handle footings were designed in order to get the new precast columns adjacent to the existing building structure. Level one is precast plank, precast beams and precast columns. Floors two and three are wood trusses, 2×6 corridor bearing walls and 2×6 exterior bearing walls. Mechanical and electrical services included plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, lighting, power and special systems (telephone, computer/data, security).

Phase II was constructed while Phase I was occupied. Phases I and II total 203,144 square feet with 140 apartments and parking for 177 vehicles.
