Joseph Pearce, PE

Principal | Practice Leader | Chief Structural Engineer

Mr. Pearce is a licensed professional engineer and has 40+ years of structural engineering experience. Joe has been with Nelson-Rudie since 1984 and is a principal, vice president and senior structural engineer. In addition, he oversees company operations.

Joe has extensive experience working on a variety of challenging projects from offices, warehouses and retail buildings to recreational facilities including ice rinks and aquatic facilities, to municipal facilities including city halls, public safety and maintenance facilities, to multistory wood framed buildings including assisted living, apartments, condominiums and hotels. He has gained invaluable expertise in planning, design and construction, and most of all, building long-term relationships with our clients.

Joe is a licensed professional engineer in 29 states. He earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of North Dakota-Grand Forks.
